Kodak R&D and Super Computer Centre Kohoku ku, Yokohama

Date: 1985 - 1988 completion.
Total floor space: 27,000 m2
4 Floors. Also auditorium with 250 seats.
Value as at 1986 Yen 21 Billion (US$210 Millon)
Type of building: Electronics R & D Facility housing Class 1 Division 1 clean room of 600 m2.
Major part of the building was also designed as a Super Computer Center with fibre optic lan throughout the building. (In 1985 this was the first building in Japan to have such facilities).

Du Pont Technical Centre, Kohoku ku Yokohama

Date: 1982 - 1984 completion.
Total floor space: 22,000 m2
4 Floors with full basement. Also auditorium with 200 seats.
Value as at 1982 Yen 30 Billion (US$300 Millon)
Type of building: Multi use R & D Facility housing over 25 different and diverse Dupont division ranging from Teflon to Kevlar, to Riston to Antron fibers.
